Booking & Cancellation Policy
Your permanent makeup (PMU) appointments are reserved especially for you. PMU procedures require significant time blocks and preparation, I enforce a strict cancellation policy to protect my schedule and allow waiting clients the opportunity to book.
Booking Fees (Deposits)
- A non-refundable booking deposit of 50% of the overall cost of the service is required to secure all new cosmetic tattoo appointments.
- This fee is strictly non-refundable but will be applied toward the final cost of your service on the day of your appointment.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
- I require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- If you reschedule with more than a 48 hours notice, your booking fee will be transferred to your new date (maximum of 1 transfer allowed).
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than a 48 hours notice will forfeit the booking deposit fee. A new fee will be required to book a future date.
Late Arrivals
- I value your time and mine. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled to avoid delaying the next client.
- Late cancellations due to tardiness will be treated as a last-minute cancellation, and your booking deposit will be forfeited.
No-Shows
- Clients who miss their appointment without any notice ("no-show") will forfeit their deposit and will be charged the remaining service balance to the card on file.
- Future bookings will not be permitted until this balance is settled.

What is Microblading and Lip Blush?
Microblading is an advanced technique of cosmetic tattooing designed to create the illusion of fuller more defined eyebrows. Unlike traditional tattoos that use a machine to inject ink deep into the dermis, microblading relies on a specialized, one-time-use, handheld tool with a configuration of fine needles (forming a small "blade"). An artist uses this tool to manually slice superficial, upper layers of the skin in hair-like strokes then implants pigment. The incisions mimic the natural direction and thickness of actual brow hairs, therefore resulting in incredibly realistic and hyper-natural eyebrows.
Lip Blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing method designed to enhance the natural color, shape, and symmetry of the lips. Instead of creating the solid, dense look of traditional permanent lipstick from decades past, modern lip blushing uses a digital machine with ultra-fine needles to deposit pixelated layers of pigment. Resulting in a sheer, tinted effect with defined borders and proper symmetry.
Does Microblading and Lip Blush Hurt?
A medical-grade numbing topical cream (usually 5% lidocaine) is applied before and during the procedures to keep you as comfortable as possible. Every person's pain tolerance is different, with microblading most clients describe it as a light scratching sensation or similar to getting your eyebrows tweezed, threaded and/or waxed.
Lip Blush enhancement is the most sensitive of the permanent makeup procedures, however, just like microblading, the client will be numbed before and during the procedure with a 5% lidocaine topical cream to ensure comfort at all times.
How long does Microblading and Lip Blush Last?
Microblading typically lasts anywhere from 1-2 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.
Skin Type: Oily skin types tend to breakdown the pigment a bit faster than dry or normal skin does.
Maintenance: To keep the brow strokes looking crisp and vibrant, a routine touch-up is recommended every 12-18 months.
Lip Blush color can typically last between 2-3 years, but this enhancement also depends on the clients lifestyle and aftercare. Lip Blush requires frequent touch-ups compared to microblading due to the fact that the lips are vascular and the body metabolizes the lip color at a rapid rate compared to other body parts.
FYI: For BOTH Microblading and Lip Blush enhancements the service will not be completed after just one appointment. At least two appointments are needed initially.
What is the Healing Process Like For Microblading and Lip Blush?
Microblading takes a complete healing cycle of 4 to 6 weeks.
Week 1: Your brows will look significantly darker and bolder than they will when they are fully healed. This is completely normal!
Week 2: Light flaking/peeling will begin. It is crucial not to pick or scratch them off.
Week 3-4: The "ghosting phase" where the color may look like it has "disappeared" before the pigment settles and resurfaces to its true, soft shade.
Lip Blush healing process you may experience moderate swelling, usually 1-3 days following the procedure. Flaking/peeling/scabbing may make the lips feel thick, but please do not pick at them. Lip color may fade up to 50% after the first 5 days, hence the reason for 2-3 appointments to achieve the desired results.
How do I prepare for Microblading and Lip Blush Procedures?
Microblading: 24-48 hours prior to your appointment, avoid caffeinated and alcoholic beverages. Avoid any blood-thinning medications (prescription and over-the-counter), vitamins or herbs to ensure the best results and healing process.
Microblading: DO NOT tan or sunburn face. DO NOT wax, tweeze/thread/wax and/or tint your brows 3 days prior.
Lip Blush: You MUST understand that if you have EVER had chicken pox, a fever blister, or a cold sore--you MUST take an anti-viral pre and post procedure to help prevent an outbreak of a cold sore. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE!
IF YOU COME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH AN INFECTION OF ANY KIND ON YOUR LIPS, YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE RESCHEDULED TO A LATER DATE.
Is Aftercare Required for Microblading and Lip Blush?
Yes, for both microblading and lip blush enhancements, aftercare is essential to ensure proper healing and long-lasting results.
Clients will be sent home with guidance for at-home aftercare instructions for both microblading and lip blush.
